Excellent top-grade hotel in the heart of the city, boasting timeless interiors and five star service. I fell in love with the InterContinental brand since my first stay back in 2018, so I was always looking forward to snag another stay at this excellent property. The price for a Club room has always been a little prohibitively high, so I was pleased when they dropped their prices owing to a slowdown in international travel earlier this year due to Covid-19. Fairmont Singapore is easily one of Singapore’s most popular hotel, mostly owing to its prime location in the heart of the city, as well as being the adjacent property to Singapore’s tallest hotel, Swissotel the Stamford. It’s been almost half a year since anyone in Singapore had a staycation, so when STB announced that staycations were allowed once again in Phase 2, many people made a beeline to make a booking at their favourite hotel, to make up for the lack of a overseas holiday.
