Earning Qantas Points and status credits on Jetstar Asia flights

One of the best feature of Qantas Frequent Flyer is probably the ability to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points when you fly with any of the Jetstar airlines, i.e. Jetstar Airways (JQ), Jetstar Asia (3K), Jetstar Pacific (BL) or Jetstar Japan (GK). If you are a Gold or Platinum member, you will also enjoy all the perks associated with your status, for instance, lounge access at select departure ports with Qantas lounges. How to earn Qantas Points and status credits with Jetstar? To do so, you will need to add on either the Starter Plus or Starter Max bundle. If you are flying with Jetstar Airways in Business, you will need to add the Business Max bundle. Out of Singapore, the Starter Plus and Max bundles will cost anything from S$35 to over S$200, but the points and status credits are pretty much worth it. Get 20% more Qantas Points when you transfer your DBS points

There is no cap on the number of bonus points you can get as long as you transfer before 30 June 2019. DBS has introduced Qantas Frequent Flyer as a partner not too long ago, and now they are offering a promotion, offering an additional 20% bonus points for all conversions made from now until 30 June 2019. DBS points need to be converted in blocks of 5,000 points for 10,000 Qantas points, with no cap on how many points you can transfer in each transaction. Note that the conversion fee of $26.75 will apply for each transfer. The 20% bonus points will be credited on the 14th of each subsequent month. Qantas Frequent Flyer now available on Mileslife

Mileslife today announced Qantas as its latest frequent flyer programme partner, enabling Qantas Frequent Flyer members to earn Qantas Points on the Mileslife’s network. Mileslife is currently available in Singapore, Hong Kong and China, and allow users to earn miles on lifestyle spending through its app at select merchants. Earn bonus points from now till 11 April 2019 In celebration of the new partnership, new users to the app who link their Qantas Frequent Flyer accounts will earn a bonus 2,500 Qantas Frequent Flyer points when they spend a minimum of S$30. For every additional $30 spend from now until 11 April 2019, users will also earn an extra 150 points on top of the on-going earn rates. This promotion is capped at 7,500 points (i.e. a maximum spend of S$1,500). Other frequent flyer programmes Qantas is the 17th airline to join the programme, with other major airlines such as Singapore Airlines, ANA, British Airways, EVA Air, Emirates and Lufthansa already on the programme.

Qantas reveals more details of its Singapore First Lounge

The Qantas First Lounge in Singapore will use a neutral colour palette, luxurious materials and leafy green highlights as it offers the airline’s top customers with a restaurant-style a la carte dining experience, a cocktail bar and showers. Following the announcement of a new Qantas First Lounge in Singapore last year, Qantas has released more details and images on what travellers can expect from the luxe lounge when it opens later this year at Changi Airport Terminal 1. Qantas is working with David Caon in collaboration with Akin Atelier, to build a First Lounge for 240 customers, offering a luxurious design and premium dining inspired by Singapore’s vibrant culture. David Caon has also worked with Qantas most recently in the redesign of the crockery and cutlery used on its flights. The Qantas First Lounge in Singapore is expected to open in ‘late 2019’, with no definitive date set at the moment.
