Singapore Airlines have unveiled its offerings for the June edition of Spontaneous Escapes. Surprisingly for a school holiday month, there seems to be a bumper crop of destinations on offer, although there are also plenty of restrictions. As again, the promotional mileage is 30% off the usual redemption rates applicable. Bookings must be made by 31 May 2019, for travel between 1 to 30 June 2019, barring blackout dates. May 2019 Spontaneous Escapes now up for grabs!

Book by 30 April to enjoy 30% off usual redemption rates for travel between 1-31 May 2019 to destinations including Bangkok, Jakarta, Seoul, Beijing and Shanghai. Singapore Airlines has unveiled its list of redemption offers for the May edition of the Spontaneous Escapes. A total of 34 destinations are up for grabs (some one-way) this month, but unfortunately some destinations such as Australia and New Zealand are not available at all this month. Krisflyer Spontaneous Escapes: up to 50% off miles required for your March trips

So after running it intermittently last year, Singapore Airlines have officially launched the Spontaneous Escapes as a regular feature. What is KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes? Singapore Airlines releases a list of discounted KrisFlyer redemption Saver awards, in both Economy and Business, to select destinations every month, at 30% off the usual redemption rates. The deals are usually available for a very short time, and travel is also limited to the following month, making this perfect if you have unused leave or you are in need of a spontaneous holiday. Offer destinations for February 2019 For the launch, they have offered a very generous 50% off the usual economy class redemption rates, and business cabins at economy rates. November 2018 KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes

The November Spontaneous Escapes promotion list is now out! For the penultimate edition of the year, KrisFlyer is offering 30% off the usual mileage required for Economy & Business on SQ to destinations across Asia and Australia only, for travel in December 2018. For SilkAir, the destination list is slightly more generous, with 15 destinations as far as Hiroshima, Japan and Darwin, Australia. Also included in the promotion this month is January travel to USA. If you recall, Singapore Airlines came out to say earlier this month that the premium economy cabin is not selling like hot cakes on the non-stop services to USA, so I guess naturally these will come at a discount too. The price? 45,500 miles each way to Los Angeles and San Francisco, plus taxes, for travel between 1-13 January 2019. All redemptions must be made by 30 November 2018. So it’s been twelve months since Singapore Airlines started a monthly redemption promotion called KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes, offering discounts on using your miles for select destinations. Given it’s the first year anniversary of the promotion, KrisFlyer is offering 40%, instead of the usual 30%, off to Bangkok, Yangon and Phnom Penh!
